New Submission Process for Phase 2 (Guestrooms)
|
|

Move to Modern is a key initiative for the Comfort ® brand transformation, and Choice has committed to a streamlined solution to help you make this transformation at your hotel.
In mid-March, we'll be introducing a new, all-in-one webform that streamlines how you submit, request and receive your approvals.
Here's what you need to know:
- IMPORTANT: Check your Choice Hotels GM Inbox!
- This month, you will receive an email to your GM inbox with a unique link to your property's webform. The sender of the email will be "Smartsheet Alerts & Actions."
- Your property's webform is your one-stop-shop to indicate your Phase 2 (Guestroom) plan:
- The webform is unique to your property and can only be used for your property.
- All design submittals, waiver requests, business cases, and/or photographs must be included in the webform.
- Step-by-step instructions on how to fill out the webform will be provided on the Move to Modern brand pages.
- Your work may be saved, allowing you to come back later to make changes or additions before submitting.
- Choice will review your submission, and reply with a decision or direction with necessary changes.

Have you taken that call from frustrated guests saying they made an honest mistake booking Advance Purchase Rate but can’t make corrections shortly after the booking was made? Now, guests that booked directly with Choice (via the website, mobile app, or contact center) will be able to cancel or modify their Advance Purchase Rate bookings within the same day the reservation is made (e.g. midnight local time of the hotel) via our Call Centers. The Choice Privileges® Tap the App Sweepstakes has ended. Please make sure that you flip your front desk counter mat and poster insert from the sweepstakes promotion, to now display the blue "Lowest Price Guaranteed" message. Please also remove the table-top cubes promoting the sweepstakes.

In 2017 we introduced The Comfort Way and required that every hotel have at least one certified Comfort Service Champion, and ensure that all associates are trained in this commitment to delivering great service. Carefully review how the Move to Modern brand standards are evaluated during a QAR inspection. As Move to Modern is considered a Critical Program, failure to comply with all brand standards, may result in point deductions and possibly a Fail Status during your next inspection. Learn more.
